This first Preach Like a Lady training module is composed of three segments:
Unit 1: READING
Engaging with written resources is a primary key to developing your ministry. Learn how to expand your mind with the right types of materials (4 lessons).
Unit 2: STUDYING
Effective study cultivates knowledge that adds depth and insight to your message. Discover tips to develop your study techniques and organize yourself in ways that will enhance your teaching and ministry (6 lessons +bonus).
Unit 3: WRITING
A well-written message requires proper form and flow. Master the nuts and bolts of sermon preparation and learn to craft material and messages that inspire and move your listeners to respond (3 lessons + 2 bonuses).
Lori is an ordained minister and recognized evangelist who travels and speaks internationally. In 2006, she founded Affirming Faith, and since that time has become a best-selling author of 24 books in genres including discipleship and Christian growth, devotional, biography, topical studies, and Christian historical fiction.
Lori serves as a member of the Women in Ministry Network Committee (UPCI) and on the Executive Planning Committee for the World Network of Prayer. Previously she served as WNOP's Michigan District Coordinator, as Michigan State Coordinator for the National Day of Prayer, Administrator for the Purpose Institute Troy Campus, and five terms as an elected representative in her community. Lori is currently continuing her education in the Master's of Theological Studies program at Urshan Graduate School of Theology.
In addition to writing books, Lori has created curriculum for Word Aflame Press and contributed articles to several publications including The Discipleship Project, Elements, The Pentecostal Herald, Christian Educator, and Reflections.
Lori and her husband Bill are active in their local church and community. They have four children, chickens, two cats, and a spoiled dog. The Wagners make their home in Clarkston, Michigan.
